Elecsec UK Limited was founded in 2008 by Darren Collett. Darren has worked in the Fire and Security industry all his life, starting as an apprentice for a multi-national company and developed his skills with them for over a decade. After this, Darren sub-contracted to them for four years, specialising in installations and project management, which led him to work across various locations across the UK and Europe.

Fellow director, Richard Wright, joined Elecsec in 2017 and later in 2018 became a joint business partner. Richard was a fellow college apprentice, so were old acquaintances. Richard’s career led him to specialising in the servicing, reactive and preventative maintenance side of  management, working for three local fire & security companies before starting his own business, Wright Guard Fire & Security in 2010.

Elecsec UK Limited, now boasts over 50 years of combined industry experience in the fire and security industry with two hands-on and knowledgeable directors.

Both Darren and Rich are committed to training up the next generation of skilled Fire & Security engineers and proudly employ local engineers and apprentices, passing on their knowledge and skills.
