Elecsec Fire & Security is a Bristol-based business with a company mission to protect people. Whilst our day to day work is more on physical fire and intruder systems, we would like to extend our help further this year by supporting Bristol Mind - "for better mental health".
Please see a little note from our directors to understand why this is so important to us at Elecsec…
“I’m so proud that Elecsec will be partnering with MIND Bristol. Having lost one of my best friends to suicide a few years ago, not even knowing there was anything wrong until it was too late, I realise how important it is that we all talk about mental health and look out for our friends, families, colleagues and ourselves. MIND are doing amazing work to support and respect anyone with a mental health problem, especially when they have nowhere else to turn for help. I know that by supporting this invaluable charity, Elecsec will be actively making a difference to other people’s lives and helping to raise awareness during such a challenging period.”
– Darren (Commercial Director)
“It saddens me to see that the current situation we find ourselves in during these uncertain times is having a serious impact on peoples mental health. Many people are worried about their jobs, others are worried about their own health or the health of their loved ones. For some people, this burden is simply too much to bear on their own and they need someone to turn to for support. I’m pleased to say that we have teamed up to help MIND continue their amazing work, supporting people through the current crisis and beyond. Working together, I hope MIND and Elecsec Fire & Security can make a real difference in the local community.”
– Richard (Service Director)
Elecsec will be making a donation for every Scaffolding Alarm System we install during 2021. While these systems play an integral part in protecting the building, they have also managed to help save lives. We hope to raise awareness, raise some much needed funds and let everyone know that there is help available, simply call the Mind Helpline 0808 808 0330 (7pm to 11pm – 7 days a week).
